Poetry in Motion

Roses are red,
Violets are blue -
Mondays are bad,
But this one's times two!

The stuff has piled up
While I was away and
It's hanging over my head
On this manic Monday!

We've done some homeschool,
Been to the bank,
Washed up some clothes
Cause they really stank!

Made doctor's appoinments,
Sorted out forms,
Called government agencies
So we can prepare for storms.

Walked one to school
And drove another. . .
I'd love a vacation
From being a mother!

Remind me I said this
When things are less crazy. . .
But it sure would be nice
Just to be lazy!!!
